Here are the picks in our 2018 NFL Mock Draft for the Bucs:

Round 1 - #7: Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State

Tampa ranked last in the NFL in pass defense (4,169 yards allowed) and sacks (22). Trading for Jason Pierre-Paul and signing Vinny Curry helps to rebuild their defensive line so I could see the Bucs addressing their secondary here.

Even though the Bucs re-signed cornerback Brent Grimes, who had a very productive season, the veteran corner turns 35 this summer. With six annual matchups against Drew Brees, who has four 5,000-yard seasons, as well as Matt Ryan and Cam Newton, who have won two of the past three league MVPs, the Bucs can't have too many cornerbacks and Ward is the best cornerback in this year's draft class.

Round 2 - #38: Arden Key, DE, LSU

Round 4 - #102: John Kelly, RB, Tennessee

Round 5 - #144: P.J. Hall, DT, Sam Houston State

Round 6 - #180: Godwin Igwebuike, S, Northwestern

Round 6 - #202: Quin Blanding, S, Virginia

Round 7 - #255: Justin Watson, WR, Pennsylvania
