2013 Fantasy Football Mock Draft (Standard Scoring)
Scoring: This mock draft is based on leagues that use standard scoring (i.e., not point-per-reception (PPR) scoring). Passing touchdowns are worth four points while rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points. In addition, one point is earned per 25 passing yards, 10 rushing yards and 10 receiving yards.

David Wilson, RB, Giants
With the release of Ahmad Bradshaw, the door is open for Wilson to take a huge step forward in 2013 unless the Giants re-sign Bradshaw at a reduced price. As my third running back, I can afford to take a chance on a guy with plenty of upside over what might be a safer option like Gore. An explosive back, Wilson averaged slightly more than five yards per carry and nearly 27 yards per kickoff return.

Hakeem Nicks, WR, Giants
Nicks was never healthy in 2012, but he should have a bounce-back season provided he stays healthy for the full season. That said, he should be 100 percent at the start of the season.

Frank Gore, RB, 49ers
Gore failed to reach 100 yards in any of the regular-season games in which Colin Kaepernick started, but he was great in the postseason. In three postseason games, Gore finished with 63 carries for 319 yards and four touchdowns plus two receptions for 48 yards. My only concern is the mileage on Gore's tires (1,911 regular-season carries) and the possibility that the 49ers don't overwork him in the regular season to keep him fresh in the postseason.

Sean Beazley (Team 3)
Marques Colston, WR, Saints
Colston has 1,000-plus yards in six of seven NFL seasons with the exception being an 11-game season. Although he missed five games that season, he was on pace for 1,100-plus yards that year. Colston scored double-digit touchdowns for the second time in his career last season.

Reggie Wayne, WR, Colts
One of my bold predictions last offseason was that Wayne would finish as a top-10 fantasy wide receiver. Although he did not, he had a nice bump in production from his 2011 campaign as the team had improved quarterback play with rookie Andrew Luck. Only Megatron (205) was targeted more than Wayne (195), who finished with 106 receptions, second-highest total of his career, for 1,355 yards, tied for second-highest total of his career.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Lions
Stafford missed his second consecutive 5,000-yard season by only 33 yards. Although he ranked second in the league in passing yards (4,967), he saw his passing touchdowns drop by more than half from 41 to 20 and his interception total increased by one to 17. That said, the Lions air it out more than anyone as Stafford shattered the single-season record for pass attempts (727) last year. The biggest concern with Stafford is the reliability of Calvin Johnson. If Megatron were to get injured (knock on wood), Stafford's fantasy value would take a huge hit.

Kevin Hanson (Team 2)
Jordy Nelson, WR, Packers
Due to become an unrestricted free agent, Greg Jennings could very possibly swap the arctic cold in Green Bay for the palm tree and tropical weather of South Beach (and he's making his pitch for the move). That said, the Packers still have the league's best quarterback and although Randall Cobb and James Jones are talented receivers, Nelson should have a chance to put up big numbers if he can stay healthy in 2013.

Brendan Donahue (Team 2)
Randall Cobb, WR, Packers
A player on many fantasy owners' radars, Cobb had the breakout season many expected. Cobb finished with 80 receptions for 954 yards and eight touchdowns last year and he will only continue to become more productive for the Packers and fantasy owners.

Brendan Donahue (Team 1)
Peyton Manning, QB, Broncos
Not knowing exactly what to expect from him last year, Manning exceeded my expectations in his first year in Denver: 4,659 yards, 37 TDs and 11 INTs. His yardage and touchdown totals were the second-best of his career and he should be in store for another big season with a talented duo of receivers in Thomas and Decker.

10 (46).
Sean Beazley (Team 1)
Michael Crabtree, WR, 49ers
Crabtree, a top-10 pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, broke out last year and became the receiver many thought he could become when drafted. He set career highs across the board (85 receptions, 1,105 yards and nine touchdowns) and played even better when the 49ers switched signal-callers. Counting the playoffs, Crabtree had 1,022 yards and 11 touchdowns in his final 12 games of the season.

11 (47).
Kevin Hanson (Team 1)
Darren Sproles, RB, Saints
Even though he's more valuable in point-per-reception (PPR) leagues, Sproles is a top-20, at least, running back regardless of scoring format. Although he missed three games last year, he still finished 911 yards from scrimmage and eight touchdowns. In both of his seasons in the Crescent City, Sproles has seven receiving touchdowns. Provided he stays healthy, he should finish with roughly 1,200 YFS and double-digit touchdowns in 2013.

Dan Yanotchko (Team 1)
Reggie Bush, RB, Dolphins
Technically, Bush is still a Dolphin, but he is scheduled to become a free agent on March 12th (when the NFL free-agency period and new league year begins). Bush's value is tied to where he lands and a common place speculated is Detroit. Until he finds a new team, it's tough to determine his value.
