2013 Fantasy Football Mock Draft (PPR Scoring)
Scoring: This mock draft is based on leagues that use point-per-reception (PPR) scoring. Passing touchdowns are worth four points while rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points. In addition, one point is earned per 25 passing yards, 10 rushing yards and 10 receiving yards and one point per reception.

Kevin Hanson (Team 1)
Frank Gore, RB, San Francisco 49ers
Although this team only has one receiver, I wanted to add another productive back as my flex (and possible RB2 if/when McFadden is injured). Gore has back-to-back 1,200-yard seasons with eight touchdowns. On the way back around, I will add a WR2 and perhaps a QB1 depending on who is available.

Sean Beazley (Team 1)
Colin Kaepernick, QB, San Francisco 49ers
In the team's divisional-round win over the Packers, Kaepernick scored the equivalent of 30 fantasy points from rushing alone: 181 yards and two scores. He also threw for 263 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in that game. Providing a glimpse of it last year, Kaepernick has as much upside as any quarterback in the league.

Antonio Brown, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers
There are still a few receivers on the board that I'd prefer over Brown at this point in the draft. After a breakout season in 2011 (1,108 receiving yards), Brown had a disappointing season last year. Missing three games, he finished with 66 receptions for 787 yards and five touchdowns. His yardage per game and per reception dropped to 60.5 and 11.9 yards, respectively, from 69.3 and 16.1 in 2011. On a positive note, however, he could see more targets with Mike Wallace in Miami.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions
There are three things to like about Stafford: (1) nobody throws it as much, (2) Calvin Johnson and (3) he'll be cheaper on draft day this year. Stafford just missed back-to-back 5,000-yard seasons with 4,967 yards on a record-setting 727 attempts. That said, I'd probably wait a little longer (for Stafford or a QB in general). There are still several really good quarterbacks available.

Lamar Miller, RB, Miami Dolphins
I was hoping Miller would slip to me, but he's a really good value here. With Reggie Bush leaving for Detroit via free agency, it will be Miller -- not Daniel Thomas -- that will take over the team's featured back.

Dan Yanotchko (Team 2)
Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta Falcons
With the trio of Julio Jones, Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez back and an improved running game behind Steven Jackson, Ryan just might improve upon last year's career numbers. He shattered his previous career highs with 422 completions, 615 pass attempts, 68.6 completion percentage, 4,719 yards and 32 touchdowns last year.

7 (55).
Kevin Hanson (Team 2)
Marques Colston, WR, New Orleans Saints
Colston has 1,000-plus yards in six of seven NFL seasons with the exception being 2008 when he played only 11 games. That said, he was on pace for 1,106 yards that season. Aside from that injury-shortened season, Colston has seven or more touchdowns every season as well. His 16-game average for his career is a line of 83/1160/9.
8 (56).
Sean Beazley (Team 2)
Dwayne Bowe, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
Last season, Bowe fell short of 1,000 yards for the first time in three seasons and he missed three games. With horrendous quarterback play, Bowe averaged roughly 10 fewer yards per game (61.6) than he did in 2011 (72.4) or 2010 (72.6). In addition, he set a career low with three touchdowns. With a new coaching staff and quarterback, those numbers should improve.

9 (57).
Sean Beazley (Team 3)
Mike Wallace, WR, Miami Dolphins
Like Bowe, Wallace failed to reach 1,000 yards for the first time in three seasons. He finished the season with 64 receptions for 836 yards and eight touchdowns. Wallace has scored 32 touchdowns in 63 career games.
Wallace signed with the Dolphins as a free agent and provides them with the vertical threat they lacked, but it's hard to see his fantasy value increase much, if at all, with Ryan Tannehill throwing him the ball. That said, I've moved Tannehill up in my fantasy rankings with the addition of 60 Minutes.

10 (58).
Dan Yanotchko (Team 3)
Torrey Smith, WR, Baltimore Ravens
Smith has the skill set to be more productive than his numbers would indicate. While many expected a breakout season last year, his numbers were nearly identical year over year. He finished with 49 receptions (50 in 2011) for 855 yards (841) and eight (seven) touchdowns. Perhaps Smith will break out this year; or perhaps his production will be eerily similar to his 2012 (and 2011) numbers.

11 (59).
Kevin Hanson (Team 3)
Eric Decker, WR, Denver Broncos
The biggest loser in the Welker-to-Broncos signing was Decker. Last season, Demaryius Thomas and Decker both finished with 1,000-plus yards and double-digit touchdowns. While he may see his targets drop in 2013, Decker should still come close to finishing among the top 20 receivers in fantasy points in 2013.

Brendan Donahue (Team 3)
Pierre Garcon, WR, Washington Redskins
Garcon's season got off to a great start -- I mean, the first 11 minutes of it. In the first quarter of the first game, Garcon scored an 88-yard touchdown but sustained an injury on that play that forced him to miss six games or slow him down in the other games. Let's hope for better health for Garcon in 2013.
