2013 Fantasy Football Mock Draft (Standard Scoring)
Scoring: This mock draft is based on leagues that use standard scoring (i.e., not point-per-reception (PPR) scoring). Passing touchdowns are worth four points while rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points. In addition, one point is earned per 25 passing yards, 10 rushing yards and 10 receiving yards.

Dan Yanotchko (Team 1)

Jonathan Stewart, RB, Panthers
The Daily Show potentially has a ton of upside from this spot. If the Panthers part ways with DeAngelo Williams, Stewart will have the opportunity to finally get the workload for which his fantasy owners have been patiently waiting. If he can stay healthy, which is a concern, he has the talent to be a top-10 back with a heavy workload.

Kevin Hanson (Team 1)
Danario Alexander, WR, Chargers
Despite leading college football in receiving, Alexander went undrafted due to multiple knee surgeries and injury concerns. Last year, he finally had an opportunity to shine in the Chargers offense. In his final nine games, he had 37 receptions for 658 yards and seven touchdowns. Although he is a free agent, it would make sense for the Chargers to re-sign him.

Robert Griffin III, QB, Redskins
Thinking about taking RG3 with my last pick for the upside, Sean takes him here. Although Adrian Peterson had a freakish return from his torn ACL, fantasy owners need to temper their expectations for Griffin. When/if healthy, however, he has the upside to be the top quarterback in fantasy.

Brandon Lloyd, WR, Patriots
Although Lloyd finished with a few more receiving yards (911) than I had expected, I thought he would finish with more than four touchdown receptions. Lloyd had 45 yards or less in half of his games. With many other weapons in the passing game, Lloyd could continue to see significant game-to-game fluctuations in 2013 as well.

Dwayne Bowe, WR, Chiefs
Scheduled to hit free agency next month, it shouldn't be hard for Bowe to land in a more fantasy-conducive environment in 2013. The Chiefs quarterback play and passing offense was atrocious in 2013 as the Chiefs ranked 32nd in touchdown passes (eight) with the second-most interceptions thrown (20). That said, reports are that the Chiefs and Bowe are currently in contract negotiations.

Andrew Luck, QB, Colts
In the Colts new offense, Luck should take a few less shots downfield and see his completion percentage increase and interceptions decrease. In addition, that will hopefully see him get hit less often. Luck set the rookie passing record last year with 4,374 yards and led the NFL with seven game-winning drives.

Dan Yanotchko (Team 2)
DeAngelo Williams, RB, Panthers
Of the Panthers running backs, I'd certainly want to own Stewart much more than I'd want to own Williams at this point. It's possible that Williams is a cap casualty and not back in Carolina, and if so, The Daily Show could be in store for a big season (if he can stay healthy).

Sean Beazley (Team 2)
Beanie Wells, RB, Cardinals
In my opinion, this is way too early for Beanie. Among Cardinals running backs, I have Ryan Williams (44th) higher than Wells (47th) in my 2013 fantasy football running back rankings. That said, I have several other available running backs ranked higher that are still on the board.

Sean Beazley (Team 3)
Daryl Richardson, RB, Rams
If Steven Jackson exercises his player option (and ultimately plays elsewhere in 2013), Richardson could be in store for a big jump in his fantasy value. At one point, it appeared as though Jackson and Richardson were involved in a timeshare and that he was more productive than SJax. After the team's bye, however, Jackson had 149 carries for 639 yards while Richardson had only 36 carries for 140 yards. On the season, Richardson averaged a strong 4.8 yards per carry.

Brendan Donahue (Team 3)
Vick Ballard, RB, Colts
From Week 6 through the end of the regular season, Ballard ranked in the top 15 in rushing with 747 yards during that span. From an offensive skill position standpoint, the Colts 2012 stellar rookie class includes: QB Andrew Luck, TEs Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen, WRs T.Y. Hilton and LaVon Brazil and Ballard at running back. Strong nucleus for the future.

Dan Yanotchko (Team 3)
Kenny Britt, WR, Titans
Britt can't seem to stay out of the news for the wrong reasons, especially during the offseason(s). From a talent perpsective, he is one of the better young receivers in the league and has much more upside now that he will be an extra year removed from the ACL and knee surgeries. Of course, that's provided he stays out of trouble.

12 (84).
Kevin Hanson (Team 3)
James Jones, WR, Packers
No player had more receiving touchdowns than Jones (14). Repeating those numbers will be extremely difficult; after all, Jordy Nelson saw his touchdown totals drop from 15 to seven last year. That said, Jones' numbers were career highs across the board: 64 receptions, 98 targets, 784 yards and the 14 TDs. With Greg Jennings about to leave via free agency, Jones should get an opportunity plenty of production in the Packers' high-powered aerial assault.
