Olaivavega Ioane — 2026 NFL Mock Draft Roundup 2.0
Leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, we will track where Penn State Nittany Lions offensive lineman Olaivavega Ioane appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.
Olaivavega Ioane NFL Mock Drafts
Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Olaivavega Ioane has appeared:
No. 16 overall — New York Jets (via IND)
After drafting a pass rusher with the second overall pick, the Jets take a rugged people-mover at guard to continue their inside-out rebuild.
No. 14 overall — Baltimore Ravens
Is a guard the best use of the 14th pick? If your answer is yes, you probably are well aware of the struggles the Ravens had at both guard spots last season. Ioane certainly wouldn't be a sexy pick, but he would be a very functional one. He's the top guard in the draft and has Pro Bowl upside. The Ravens could plug him in from Day 1 and not have to worry about that spot for at least five years. That would be a nice luxury to have, particularly for a team that hasn't gotten enough quality from that position in recent seasons.
No. 16 overall — Minnesota Vikings (via NYJ/IND)
Projected trade: The Vikings need help on the interior of their offensive line, and Olaivavega Ioane is the lone guard in this class I view as a first-round player. So Minnesota moves up to get him and makes sure Detroit can't.
No. 16 overall — New York Jets (via IND)
I know quarterback is a huge need for the Jets, but I don't see a QB worthy of the 16th overall pick this year. So, they can take the best player available here. I view Ioane as the best offensive lineman in the draft. He can fill the void with the injury-plagued Alijah Vera-Tucker and John Simpson headed for free agency.
No. 22 overall — Los Angeles Chargers
No fan base needs to be reminded less on the importance of offensive line play and health than the Chargers' faithful. Los Angeles allowed 60 sacks last season while quarterback Justin Herbert was hit more than any other signal-caller. The return of Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater from injury will go a long way, as will the hiring of Mike McDaniel at offensive coordinator, but the interior needs reinforcements.
Enter Ioane, a no-nonsense, rugged guard who is perhaps the most physical offensive player in the class. He's a body-mover as a run blocker and terrific in pass protection, not allowing a single sack over the past two seasons.

The Chargers, again, need help up front after a brutal showing in the postseason that saw their Super Bowl hopes end after one game, and it cost offensive coordinator Greg Roman and O-line coach Mike Devlin their jobs. It's impossible to predict losing so many offensive linemen to injury, but having more of them at least gives an opportunity to build some much-needed depth up front.
No. 13 overall — Los Angeles Rams (via ATL)
The Rams might feel tempted to go after another weapon on offense. If Makai Lemon were still available, he'd be a no-brainer pick for them. So, the next best thing they can do to help Matthew Stafford out would be to get him some protection. I love Ioane. He didn't allow a sack in the last two years, and he might be the best interior offensive lineman in the draft.
