Jordyn Tyson — 2026 NFL Mock Draft Roundup 2.0
Leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, we will track where Arizona State Sun Devils wide receiver Jordyn Tyson appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.
Jordyn Tyson NFL Mock Drafts
Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Jordyn Tyson has appeared:
No. 20 overall — Dallas Cowboys
With George Pickens set to test free agency, the Cowboys could find a plug-and-play replacement who studied under Hines Ward at Arizona State.
No. 14 overall — Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens brought in defensive-minded Jesse Minter as their new coach, but that doesn't lock Baltimore into a defender in Round 1. This team lacks reliable options for Lamar Jackson outside of Zay Flowers -- who has back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons -- and needs to diversify its passing attack. At 6-foot-3, Tyson would give Jackson the bigger-bodied target he needs. I've long been an advocate of expanding Jackson's strike zone with bigger receivers as opposed to smaller, speedier targets. Tyson overcame drop issues in 2024 to put together a cleaner, more complete résumé last season. There are injury questions, but he profiles as a WR1 who can win on vertical routes and has an expanded route tree for inside and breaking patterns.
No. 21 overall — Pittsburgh Steelers
Tyson is an explosive receiver with the size, speed and catch radius to win at all three levels. A smooth hands-catcher, he consistently makes contested and high-point grabs look effortless while creating surprising separation at the top of his routes for his size. Tyson can hit top-end speed in just a few steps and shows the type of short-area quickness reserved for smaller, shiftier WRs. He's also an asset in the screen game, making him a dynamic threat both outside and from the slot.
No. 16 overall — New York Jets (via IND)
Some mock drafts have Tyson going as high as No. 5 overall, so to see him this low might be a surprise, but wide receiver draft ranges tend to be wider than we think, and Tyson does have a more extensive injury history. That being said, he is my top wide receiver based on his tape. Pairing him with Garrett Wilson would create a nasty duo (or trio if you throw in AD Mitchell).
The Athletic — Baumgardner/Dochterman
No. 5 overall — New York Giants
Tyson has everything necessary to become WR1 on an NFL depth chart, and a Pro Bowler. He was one of the nation's most prolific pass catchers the past two years and is a complete route runner. If he rejoins former teammate Cam Skattebo and combines with a healthy Malik Nabers, this Giants offense would be radically improved.
No. 7 overall — Washington Commanders
Deebo Samuel is ticketed for free agency this offseason, and if the veteran receiver leaves, this silky-smooth pass catcher would be a sensible selection for the Commanders. Tyson is a route-running specialist who gives off Jaxon Smith-Njigba vibes on the perimeter.
No. 19 overall — Carolina Panthers
The Panthers have a stud in Tetairoa McMillan, and I like what I saw from Jalen Coker at the end of the season, but choosing Tyson would complete the WR room.
