Taliese Fuaga — NFL Mock Draft Roundup 2.0

Leading up to the 2024 NFL Draft, we will track where Oregon State Beavers offensive tackle Taliese Fuaga appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.

Taliese Fuaga NFL Mock Drafts

Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Fuaga has appeared:

CBS Sports - Kyle Stackpole

#10 overall, New York Jets

Rome Odunze or Brock Bowers were tempting here, but beefing up the offensive line in front of Aaron Rodgers was more important. Drafting Taliese Fuaga will ensure New York puts out the best five players to protect the future Hall of Fame QB.

NFL.com - Eric Edholm

#13 overall, Las Vegas Raiders

I think a quarterback is possible, either trading up for Jayden Daniels or maybe sticking and picking (if not trading down before taking) Michael Penix Jr. That said, addressing the offensive line remains a paramount need for Vegas. Both right guard and right tackle appear up for grabs, and the massive Fuaga could shore up the latter spot as a rookie.

The Ringer - Danny Kelly

#10 overall (TRADE), Los Angeles Chargers

TRADE: The Jets send the no. 10 pick and a 2025 first-rounder to the Chargers for the no. 5 pick.

After trading back and netting a future first, the Chargers do exactly what everyone expects a Jim Harbaugh-coached team to do here: Draft for the trenches. Fuaga is a plug-and-play brawler at right tackle and makes the perfect bookend to Rashawn Slater. The Chargers are looking to become a punch-you-in-the-mouth offense, and this pick is a nice start.

NFL.com - Charles Davis

#13 overall, Las Vegas Raiders

If the Raiders don't end up drafting a quarterback in Round 1, this stalwart OT would help their offense improve immediately.

CBS Sports - Pete Prisco

#13 overall, Las Vegas Raiders

You can never go wrong taking a big, powerful offensive lineman. Taliese Fuaga would fit better on the right side than Olu Fashanu from Penn State.

ESPN - Matt Miller

#14 overall, New Orleans Saints

The Trevor Penning experiment has not worked in New Orleans; he has started just six games over two seasons and allowed six sacks. So the Saints have to find a long-term left tackle. Fuaga, who started 25 games the past two years at right tackle while allowing just one sack, has the mobility and agility to make the transition to the left side. He is my OT3 in this class and No. 12 overall player on my board.

ESPN - Mike Tannenbaum

#13 overall, Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders struggled on offense last season, and it starts up front. Losing tackle Jermaine Eluemunor to the Giants leaves a hole, so I love the idea of bringing in 6-6, 324-pound Fuaga. He has started 25 games (40 total games of play) and given up only one sack, and he brings the kind of physical edge coach Antonio Pierce wants in Las Vegas. With Kolton Miller at left tackle, I would keep Fuaga on the right side.

The Athletic - Ben Standig

#10 overall, New York Jets

Acquiring Tyron Smith and Morgan Moses locked in the starting tackles. They come with age risk (both 33 years old), injury concerns (Smith has missed 37 games over the last four seasons) and expiring contracts. The staff has helped the present enough to grab a run-blocking mauler at offensive tackle who could play guard in the short term.
