Jordan Morgan — NFL Mock Draft Roundup 2.0

Leading up to the 2024 NFL Draft, we will track where Arizona Wildcats offensive tackle Jordan Morgan appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.

Jordan Morgan NFL Mock Drafts

Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Morgan has appeared:

CBS Sports - Kyle Stackpole

#31 overall, San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers haven't drafted an offensive tackle since 2021, and that was in the fifth round. That changes with the selection of Jordan Morgan, who can compete for the right tackle job right away and hopefully become the long-term replacement for Trent Williams on the left side.

NFL.com - Eric Edholm

#31 overall, San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers might be wise to add to their OL depth. Morgan was a left tackle in college and might one day play there in the NFL, even if his shorter frame has a lot of teams projecting him inside. There's a need there in San Francisco.

ESPN - Matt Miller

#31 overall, San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers were active in free agency, but they didn't do much regarding the offensive line, which struggled throughout the postseason. To me, that signals that the front office sees the draft class as a good opportunity to build there. Morgan played left tackle at Arizona, but he is seen by scouts as a potential guard at the next level. He has 37 games of experience and is a great mover in space. Morgan is a plug-and-play fit in the 49ers' scheme.

ESPN - Mike Tannenbaum

#32 overall, Kansas City Chiefs

The defending Super Bowl champs could use a young ascending offensive tackle, especially since Donovan Smith is a free agent and Jawaan Taylor struggled with penalties last season. Morgan has prototypical size at 6-5 and 311 pounds, displays the foot speed to mirror and redirect, and comes with valuable experience (37 starts under his belt). But his arms are a bit short at 32⅞ inches, and he needs to get stronger in his lower body.

The Athletic - Ben Standig

#32 overall, Kansas City Chiefs

Trading L'Jarius Sneed pushes cornerback up the Chiefs' needs list. Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry is sitting right there. So are wide receivers Ladd McConkey and Xavier Worthy, though signing Marquise Brown curtailed angst. Concerns at left tackle remain. Morgan, a three-year starter at the position, earned All-Pac-12 honors in 2023 after an ACL tear cut his previous season short.
