Miami Dolphins NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2027 NFL Draft, we will update our Miami Dolphins Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Miami Dolphins from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks from recent NFL mock drafts for the Miami Dolphins:

Fox Sports — Rob Rang

1. Arch Manning, QB, Texas

Given that nearly every pass (or run) he's made in three years at Texas has been put under the microscope, one might guess that Manning's career numbers (62.3% competition rate with a 35:9 touchdown-to-interception ratio) were much less impressive than they are. Boasting a tall, strong frame, a whip of an arm, excellent straight-line speed and the mental toughness that comes with all the expectations growing up as a Manning, he is the easy favorite to be the No. 1 overall pick next spring.

For the Win — Christian D'Andrea

1. Dante Moore, QB, Oregon

Moore or Arch Manning? Moore was the better quarterback in 2025, which gives him the edge while acknowledging, right now, there's no wrong answer.

CBS Sports — Ryan Wilson

1. Dante Moore, QB, Oregon

Moore would have been the No. 2 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft had he not decided to return to Oregon. He plays with high-end pocket composure, handles pressure well -- and once the play breaks down, is elite out of structure. He showed up in big moments throughout the '25 season (until they ran into the Hoosiers in the CFP) and he's my QB1 because he outplayed Arch Manning -- and every other QB -- in the '26 class.

ESPN — Jordan Reid

2. Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State

Quarterback would be a consideration if the Dolphins pick this high, but getting a truly elite receiver would be hard to pass up, especially with the Dolphins moving on from Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle this offseason. Smith has a great blend of size and speed. He's a swift vertical mover who eats up coverages in a hurry while showing exceptional strength at the catch point. Eight of Smith's 12 receiving touchdowns last season came in the red zone, as he's an upper-echelon player in that area. But he can also make big plays down the field. Andre Johnson and Julio Jones come to mind as easy NFL comparisons.

The Athletic — Dane Brugler

2. Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State

This scenario reminds me of the 2004 draft — there were multiple quarterbacks in play at the top, but the Arizona Cardinals stayed put and drafted Larry Fitzgerald. A Miami native, Smith is too special a prospect for the Dolphins (or anyone) to pass on him here.

CBS Sports — Cooper Petagna

3. Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State

Ranked as the No. 1 overall prospect by 247Sports in 2024 and often described as a "generational talent," Smith has lived up to the billing through his first two seasons. A rare physical specimen, he became just the second receiver in program history to post back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. His blend of size, speed and strength -- paired with elite intangibles -- makes him one of the most complete receiver prospects in years.

PFF — Daire Carragher

2. Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State

Jeremiah Smith has been viewed as a future blue-chip prospect since arriving at Ohio State. Carnell Tate was selected fourth overall despite Smith comfortably outproducing him over the past two seasons. This 20-year-old has the size and athletic profile of a Hall of Famer, with 27 touchdowns in just two years.

NBC Sports — Eric Froton

2. Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State

The most projectable WR prospect since Julio Jones will command a premium come draft day and could potentially go No. 1 overall if the right WR needy team gets the pick. Smith is a tantalizing +1600 on Draft Kings to be the No. 1 selection in 2027. You will not get a line that attractive on him ever again.
