New England Patriots NFL Mock Draft Roundup 3.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, we will update our New England Patriots Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the New England Patriots from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks from recent NFL mock drafts for the New England Patriots:

NFL.com — Charles Davis

31. Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State

Iheanachor is exactly what the Pats need: More young talent for the offensive line. He would immediately compete for snaps at right tackle. However, if New England opts to go edge rusher here, Clemson's T.J. Parker should be in play.

31. Zion Young, EDGE, Missouri

This mock draft didn't turn out great for the Patriots. We were hoping one of Brugler's top-5 offensive tackles or top-6 wide receivers or top-7 edge rushers would fall to the 31st pick. Alas, none did. This would be a good spot for the Patriots to trade back, but since we couldn't find any takers, we went with Young. Some teams may view him as undersized, but he would fit what the Pats are looking for at edge rusher and boost one of their weakest positions entering the offseason.

CBS Sports — Fornelli

31. Gabe Jacas, EDGE, Illinois

I'm taking a flier here. I'm an Illini fan who has seen a lot of Gabe Jacas over his career, and he's always reminded me of former Ohio State player and current New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel. If the Patriots look to address the pass rush in this spot, Jacas makes a lot of sense for both his ability and scheme fit.

NFL.com — Daniel Jeremiah

31. Zion Young, EDGE, Missouri

Young feels like an excellent fit for Mike Vrabel's defense. He's a big, rugged edge rusher who capped off a strong Senior Bowl week by winning Defensive MVP honors in the game.

ESPN — Field Yates

31. Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah

The Patriots' run to the Super Bowl was impressive, but it underscored the team's need to beef up quarterback Drake Maye's protection. Lomu, who took over at left tackle for Utah in 2024 when Fano moved over to the right side, could slide in at tackle or guard for New England. (Note: I am a firm believer that the Patriots should stay fully committed to Will Campbell at left tackle, as coach Mike Vrabel has already stated will be the case.) Lomu needs to further develop his strength, but the 6-foot-6, 304-pounder is already a solid pass protector who did not allow a single sack in 2025.

Yahoo! Sports — McDonald/Tice

31. Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon

A team picking in the top five the past two drafts suddenly made the Super Bowl. And while the Patriots nailed their recent free-agency class, they could stand to add some more building blocks, especially on offense around their star quarterback Drake Maye. While Sadiq is a tight end, the Patriots need pass catchers, especially ones who can create explosives with the ball in their hands. Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels loves to use tight ends, and Maye has loved throwing the ball to Hunter Henry in his first two seasons. Sadiq would give them a weapon who can turn those screens and underneath routes into big plays. He has the speed and receiving ability to stretch the defense, and also some real grit as a blocker that Mike Vrabel would love.

Fox Sports — Joel Klatt

31. T.J. Parker, EDGE, Clemson

The Patriots could use some more firepower at wide receiver, but they need some pass-rushing help, too. Parker was considered to be a candidate to be a top-10 pick at the start of the season. He disappointed a bit, although the upside with Parker is still strong.
