KC Concepcion — 2026 NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Few receivers cook quite like Concepcion when it comes to separating from man coverage.

Based on the news conference after the Bills fired Sean McDermott, it sure seems like wide receiver Keon Coleman might not be a long-term answer for Buffalo. Even with the Bills shifting to a more balanced offense focused on NFL rushing champion James Cook III, there's a severe need for wide receiver help. Josh Allen needs a pass catcher who can create and make plays. Concepcion has average size at 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, but he's shifty throughout the route tree and creates yards after the catch. The Bills could line him up in the slot and unleash him on choice routes, where he can quickly create space and be a threat unlike anything Allen has had since Stefon Diggs.

Concepcion is a versatile WR who uses his quickness and burst to consistently get open against man coverage, proving himself a deep threat with the speed to stack defenders. He is a natural hands-catcher who runs precise routes to all three levels and adds significant value as a dynamic punt returner with impressive YAC ability.

I thought about double-dipping at offensive line here for the Browns, as some good options remain on the board, but Concepcion gives them the reliable athleticism they're missing at wide receiver. He improved tremendously as a route runner this past season, evidenced by his 78.3 PFF receiving grade against man coverage, and averaged 7.2 yards after catch per reception.

Injuries crushed the 49ers' offense, but San Francisco also sorely missed that all-purpose threat formerly occupied by Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel.

Concepcion was the nation's most versatile performer and would give Kyle Shanahan a major weapon all over the field, as well as in the return game.

Without a consensus first-round quarterback available at this pick, the Browns could add another weapon to an offense that gained a league-worst 4.3 yards per play in 2025. Concepcion is an electric playmaker with outstanding ball skills and RAC (run after the catch) ability.
