New Orleans Saints NFL Mock Draft Roundup 3.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, we will update our New Orleans Saints Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the New Orleans Saints from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks from recent NFL mock drafts for the New Orleans Saints:

NFL.com — Charles Davis

8. Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State

The Saints found their QB in the 2025 draft with the selection of Tyler Shough. Now they give him a big-play threat to play opposite Chris Olave.

8. Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

Third-best overall player in Brugler's top 100 and an offensive weapon for the Saints? Sign me up! Even if Alvin Kamara remains on the roster, there's no doubt Saints coach Kellen Moore will find ways to use Love within the improving offense led by second-year QB Tyler Shough. And once Kamara is gone, Love will be a true No. 1 back for New Orleans. I pondered either Love or wide receiver Carnell Tate at this slot. I'd be happy with either, but Love feels like a can't-miss player.

8. Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

I raised a lot of eyebrows last year when I said I liked Jeremiyah Love more than Ashton Jeanty, and my feelings on the subject haven't changed. Love is a versatile, special playmaker who will quickly prove to be one of the better running backs in the NFL. He's a ready-made replacement for Alvin Kamara.

8. Makai Lemon, WR, USC

The Saints inject a major boost to Tyler Shough's receiving corps. Kellen Moore will know exactly how to utilize Lemon's skills.

8. Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State

Quarterback Tyler Shough provides the Saints with plenty of hope going forward, as he finished his rookie season with a 4-1 record. Tyson would be a huge addition to Kellen Moore's offense, which still needs more playmaking alongside Chris Olave. At 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, Tyson is electric with the ball in his hands. He totaled 29 catches, 444 yards and three touchdowns in the final three games he played in 2024 before being knocked out for the season with an injury. His 2025 season was limited by uneven QB play and injuries, but he can be schemed up for as many touches as possible in New Orleans.

8. Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State

Tyler Shough did enough to get another year as the starting quarterback in New Orleans, but the Saints' wide receiver room could use a bit of juice. Tate would make a lot of sense as a strong starting wide receiver across from Chris Olave, who isn't always the most available player. The Saints could use another strong weapon on offense, and Tate might be the best wide receiver in this class.

8. Makai Lemon, WR, USC

This is an interesting pick here. I think the Saints will look to build around Tyler Shough, who I thought showed flashes as a rookie quarterback. Because of that, I think Jeremiyah Love should be an option for the Saints here. But I went with Lemon, who is an outstanding wide receiver. The way he operates in space and over the middle shows how he has such a strong feel for the game. He knows how to attack the grass thanks to the offense he played in at USC.
