Cincinnati Bengals NFL Mock Draft Roundup 3.0
Throughout the year and leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, we will update our Cincinnati Bengals Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Cincinnati Bengals from several prominent sites and draft analysts.
The following are picks from recent NFL mock drafts for the Cincinnati Bengals:
10. Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State
Playmakers are needed on all three levels of the defense. I know the Bengals spent second- and fourth-round picks on linebackers in last year's draft, but Styles is a top-five talent they cannot pass up.
10. Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State
This pick came down to Styles and LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane. What the Bengals do in free agency might provide the tiebreaker. Styles would be a slam dunk to drop in the middle of the defense, despite rookie linebacker issues last season. If Cincinnati handles linebacker in free agency, Delane would be the ideal pick for a team not in need of an immediate starter but grabbing the top player at a premium position. He'd provide elite depth behind DJ Turner and Dax Hill, both in the last year of their contracts and seeking extensions. Either way, the defense needs more great players and, even at a non-premium position, Styles qualifies.
10. Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
Caleb Downs is an instinctive, highly skilled, versatile safety who can be used in a number of different spots and in a number of different ways, and he never takes a snap off. He has a knack for being the guy who makes The Play every time one is needed.
10. Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
Cincinnati stays in-state with this pick. The Bengals' defense could use consistency and structure. Downs provides both.
10. Rueben Bain Jr., EDGE, Miami (FL)
The Bengals are desperate for defensive help across the board, but it's hard to achieve much in the NFL without a forceful pass rush. They swung big on an answer to that issue last year by taking Shemar Stewart, who had only 4.5 sacks in three college seasons but posed athletic upside. But Stewart had one sack across eight games as a rookie.
Bain is the exact opposite archetype, with 20.5 sacks in three seasons but a lack of premiere physical traits. He makes up for his more compact frame with overpowering strength and quick hands. Bain earned ACC Defensive Player of the Year honors this past season, dominating opposing offenses on the way to the CFP Championship game. With Trey Hendrickson likely moving on this offseason, Bain would fit nicely here.

10. Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU
The Bengals need defense, obviously. However, they've spent so many recent assets along the defensive line, maybe they try another position here and go cornerback, which they also need. Delane would immediately be their most talented cornerback and give them someone who can keep up with wide receivers in coverage.
10. David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech
Cincinnati would be ecstatic if the draft played out this way. If the Bengals saw Bailey on the board here, they'd jump right up and make this pick. It sounds like edge rusher Trey Hendrickson might move on in free agency this offseason, but the Bengals had one of the worst defenses in the league again this past season. So, they need defensive help, regardless.
