Azzi Fudd - WNBA Mock Draft Roundup 1.0
Leading up to the 2026 WNBA Draft, we will track where UConn's Azzi Fudd appears in the latest WNBA mock drafts.
Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Azzi Fudd has appeared:
No. 1 overall — Dallas Wings
Fudd is one of the most electric shooters in all of college basketball. The UConn star has a silky smooth release and is most known for her ability to inflict pain from beyond the arc on opposing defenses. To that notion, she's currently shooting over 50% from 3-point range this season. Her ability to space the floor and attack the perimeter would dramatically help a team that ranked 11th in made 3-pointers last season. What's more, she's an underrated three-level scorer who can create and be a willing defender.
No. 4 overall — Washington Mystics
Fudd was the No. 1 ranked recruit coming out of St. John's College High School in Washington, D.C. in 2021. Returning home to the Mystics would be a full circle moment for the UConn star. There are still questions about her ability to create her own offense, but she is one of the best pure shooters to ever enter the draft. The Mystics, who attempted a league-low 17.1 3-pointers per game last season, desperately need an outside threat.
The Athletic — Sabreena Merchant
No. 3 overall — Seattle Storm
Heading into the 2025 NCAA Tournament, the scouting report on Fudd was measured. She hadn't yet played a full healthy season, she was mostly a complementary player, and she hadn't exactly filled up the box score. But then Fudd went on to win Most Outstanding Player at the Final Four and finish 2024-25 with the best on-off differential for UConn, ahead of Sarah Strong and Bueckers. And Fudd has been on a heater to start her final year in college. She's averaging 27 points per game and making half of her 3-pointers while providing solid wing defense and secondary playmaking. She still has the best on-off differential for the Huskies, and she isn't just racking up stats in blowouts; her clutch shooting helped UConn hold off Michigan in the game of the season to date.
The pedigree is finally shining through on a consistent basis. Fudd is an ace scorer and shooter who doesn't really take anything off the table. She would be an awesome complement to Malonga for years to come.

No. 1 overall — Dallas Wings
In victories over Michigan on Friday and Utah on Sunday, Fudd scored a combined 55 points on 58.1% shooting. For the season, she is averaging 21.0 points per game on 51.1% shooting overall and 54.8% from behind the arc. Fudd has dealt with injuries in her career, but provided she stays healthy, she is an offensive standout who will be highly valued in the WNBA.
