2022 NFL Power Rankings: Green Bay Packers

Throughout the 2022 NFL season, we will compile a consensus NFL Power Rankings that averages the rankings of all 32 NFL teams.

Below you will find a Week 11 roundup for the Green Bay Packers in our consensus 2022 NFL Power Rankings.

ESPN -- Rank: 18

Who was on the hot seat in preseason: LT David Bakhtiari
Temperature of seat right now: Lukewarm

Just when it seems like Bakhtiari is full go, his knee issue flares up. For example, two weeks ago at Detroit, he dropped out at halftime and then decided he was good to go for the game's final series. Last month at Washington, his knee didn't feel right the day before the game and he was a scratch despite practicing most of the week. The Packers might have a tough decision to make this offseason because he is a great player when available, but he is due a lot of money ($17.5 million in salary and bonuses) next season.

Aaron Rodgers went on The Pat McAfee Show last week to remind the football world -- and perhaps, himself -- he is indeed the reigning back-to-back NFL MVP. It was a warning not to write off the Packers, words backed up by actions in a 31-28 overtime win over the Cowboys at Lambeau Field. Rodgers threw three touchdown passes (all to previously scuffling rookie Christian Watson) and got much-needed help from running back Aaron Jones (138 yards) and backup safety Rudy Ford, who made the most of his opportunity with two crucial Dak Prescott interceptions in the first half. We're not ready to say the Packers are "back," but the defibrillator pads have effectively returned a pulse to the reigning NFC North champs.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 18

They showed against the Cowboys that they aren't done yet. The offense showed some life, which is a pleasant change as they ready to play Tennessee on Thursday night.

USA Today -- Rank: 17

Before Christian Watson managed it Sunday, who was the last Green Bay rookie with 100 receiving yards and three TD catches in a game? How about Hall of Famer James Lofton in 1978.

The Athletic -- Rank: 17

What a cool game for Christian Watson, the rookie who famously dropped a would-be touchdown on the first target of his career in Week 1 and has been the poster boy for the underperforming, post-Davante Adams wide receiver group. He had four catches for 107 yards and three touchdowns in the comeback win over the Cowboys. He had only 88 yards receiving on the season entering Sunday. Watson doesn't need to be that productive every week to change the shape of the Packers' offense, but simply having a reliable speed threat to prevent opposing defenses from selling out to stop the No. 6 rushing offense by DVOA should go a long way.

The Ringer -- Rank: 17

The good news is rookie wide receiver Christian Watson broke out in a major way on Sunday, catching four passes for 107 yards and three touchdowns to help secure a much-needed win over the Cowboys. The bad news is it may be too little, too late for Watson and the Packers to avoid missing the playoffs. After Sunday's games, Green Bay was +300 to make the postseason with games against the Titans, Eagles, Dolphins, and Vikings—each of whom are leading their respective divisions—still remaining on the schedule.

Yahoo! -- Rank: 17

Christian Watson's three-touchdown game was a revelation. We've seen other teams get immediate contributions from rookie receivers, but the Packers' second-round draft pick was slow to come around. The Packers' win on Sunday keeps them relevant this season, and if Watson's emergence sticks, maybe they can get rolling.

PFT -- Rank: 18

The young receivers are finally getting comfortable. It would have happened sooner if their $50 million quarterback hadn't ignored them in the offseason.
