Tyler Warren — NFL Mock Draft Roundup 2.0

Leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will track where Penn State Nittany Lions tight end Tyler Warren appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.

Tyler Warren NFL Mock Drafts

Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Warren has appeared:

NFL.com — Chad Reuter

No. 12 overall — Denver Broncos

PROJECTED TRADE WITH DALLAS COWBOYS

Sean Payton takes advantage of teams overlooking Warren's skills, sending Denver's first- and second-round picks to Dallas for this selection and a fifth-rounder. The tight end brings great value to second-year signal-caller Bo Nix as a strong but nimble pass catcher who's able to move the chains, get down the seam and be a major red zone threat.

CBS Sports — Tom Fornelli

No. 14 overall — Indianapolis Colts

Will it be Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones? I don't know, I'm just glad I'm not a Colts fan having to talk myself into either one. What I do know is that either of them will be happy to have an offensive weapon as versatile and reliable as Tyler Warren around.

Yahoo! Sports — Tice/McDonald

No. 18 overall — Seattle Seahawks

Tight ends play a big role in the offense that new coordinator Klint Kubiak is installing in Seattle, but the Seahawks don't have a big-time talent at tight end. Insert Warren, who is one of the best players in the draft and could be a steal in Seattle's offense given his athleticism and wide array of skills.

The Athletic — Beat Writers Mock

No. 7 overall — New York Jets

The Jets desperately need an upgrade at tight end, especially now that they're plugging Justin Fields in at quarterback and should be using a run-heavy scheme. They signed Stone Smartt in free agency but he's more of a big slot than a two-way tight end. The Jets need someone to step in as both a safety valve for Fields and as a quality blocker, and Warren can help in both areas. He might not be a Brock Bowers-level tight end prospect, but he arguably would be the most impactful, ready-made option for the Jets at No. 7. — Zack Rosenblatt

NFL.com — Daniel Jeremiah

No. 14 overall — Indianapolis Colts

Whether it's Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones starting for the Colts next season, the team needs to help its quarterback with some easy completions. Warren can provide them, and he'll also be an asset in the run game for Jonathan Taylor.

Fox Sports — Rob Rang

No. 5 overall — Jacksonville Jaguars

The track record for tight ends selected in the top 10 is not pretty, but Warren is among the few elite talents of this class. Innovative offensive mind Liam Coen will be looking for any and every way to unlock Trevor Lawrence's potential. Pairing Warren with last year's first-round star Brian Thomas Jr. could do precisely that.

CBS Sports — Chris Trapasso

No. 14 overall — Indianapolis Colts

The Colts add a physical specimen at tight end to add more diversity to the offense.

Fox Sports — Joel Klatt

No. 14 overall — Indianapolis Colts

I'm not sure if Warren's going to slide this far, but if he does, this would be a great fit. The Colts are still trying to figure out what's going on at quarterback. Warren can help either Daniel Jones or Anthony Richardson, who has proven to be a big-time target and versatile. He was Penn State's best offensive weapon last season.

ESPN — Mel Kiper

No. 7 overall — New York Jets

I like the idea of giving new quarterback signing Justin Fields help, and it could come in the form of pass protection or a playmaker. Missouri's Armand Membou would fit nicely at right tackle opposite Olu Fashanu, and that's one potential path for the Jets if the board falls this way. But consider how the Jets could use Warren.

At Penn State, Warren lined up in just about every imaginable formation, and he produced from all of them. He's special with the ball in his hands, accumulating 700 of his 1,233 yards last season after the catch. He would be a reliable safety valve over the middle, a seam stretcher and a red zone target for Fields.

CBS Sports — Mike Renner

No. 14 overall — Indianapolis Colts

While Anthony Richardson isn't hurting for weapons, Tyler Warren's versatility makes him an easy choice to join the offense. He will be a value add as a blocker in the run game and has shown to be a weapon on gadget-type plays in Penn State's offense.

The 33rd Team — Kyle Crabbs

No. 7 overall — New York Jets

New York has the makings of an impressive offensive front, and with Justin Fields behind center, it should have little issue running the football.

Making the most of its outlook will come down to if it can get enough mismatch players in the passing game. Tyler Warren can help on both fronts for a team whose tight end room is missing a centerpiece.
