Jihaad Campbell — NFL Mock Draft Roundup 2.0
Leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will track where Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Jihaad Campbell appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.
Jihaad Campbell NFL Mock Drafts
Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Campbell has appeared:
No. 15 overall — Atlanta Falcons
Campbell was initially recruited to play on the edge at Alabama, but he developed an all-around game that could make the Falcons quite happy if he's available here. This SEC star should prove himself to be an apt blitzer in the NFL and he will use his speed to track down ball-carriers before they hit the sideline.
No. 15 overall — Atlanta Falcons
Linebackers are treated like running backs in drafts, and it's led to plenty of teams getting very good players at a discount. The Falcons have to address their pass rush in the draft, but they could use help at LB too, and there will be other good pass-rushers available in the second. I don't know if there will be an LB like Jihaad Campbell available.
No. 19 overall — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
One of my favorite player-team-need fits of this draft. The Buccaneers' roster could look to add a pass rusher here, instead go with Campbell to bridge between now and a post-Lavonte David world. Campbell is a real three-down off-ball linebacker whose pass rushing ability would be unlocked in Todd Bowles' aggressive scheme.

No. 19 overall — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
This makes so much sense that it can't possibly happen, right? Because of his position — off-the-ball linebacker — Campbell would be a value pick at 19. His tape and workout suggest he should go higher. Campbell also would fill a need for the Bucs, who lost Devin White last year and will need a replacement for 35-year-old Lavonte David at some point soon. GM Jason Licht hardly ever misses, and Campbell looks like the kind of player Licht usually hits on. — Dan Pompei
No. 9 overall — New Orleans Saints
Campbell has the versatility to be a major weapon for a creative defensive coordinator like Brandon Staley.
No. 31 overall — Minnesota Vikings
With the Vikings currently possessing an NFL-low four draft picks, expect GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah to be actively searching for trade-down opportunities. In this scenario, he'd be a big winner, adding another pick or two and Campbell, a superb athlete whose speed to the sidelines and in coverage would give the Vikings' defense another dimension of playmaking potential.
No. 27 overall — Los Angeles Rams
Armed with more ammo after their trade down, the Rams immediately then trade up with Baltimore to get their new quarterback of the defense. In this deal, the always trade-down happy Ravens get No. 35 (second round), No. 90 (third round), and No. 101 (third round).
No. 19 overall — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs had one of the best offenses last year, so I think they can focus on defense here. I really like Campbell's potential. He's an excellent player and would be a natural plug and play type player for a team looking to compete.
No. 19 overall — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Campbell is buzzy right now and rising the board, so he might not be available at No. 19. But if he is there, he'd be a good fit for Tampa Bay. Lavonte David is back, but he is 35 years old. Anthony Walker Jr. was brought in too, but the linebacker room will need more reinforcements. And Campbell would be able to impact multiple phases of this defense with his speed, instincts and versatility. He had 112 tackles, 5 sacks and 4 pass breakups last season.
One other position to watch: cornerback. Tampa Bay's defense had just seven picks last season, and starter Zyon McCollum is signed for only one more year. Texas' Jahdae Barron, who is No. 23 on my Big Board, could fit.

No. 20 overall — Denver Broncos
You want to see the most terrifying front seven in the NFL? Well, it would belong to Denver after nabbing the best all-around linebacker in the draft class to pair with Dre Greenlaw.
No. 8 overall — Carolina Panthers
Carolina has gotten serious in a big way about improving its defense this offseason. It has signed big free agent contracts for Bobby Brown, Trevon Moehrig, and Tershawn Wharton.
Now, it lands a glue piece in the middle to help tie everything together.
