New England Patriots NFL Mock Draft Roundup 2.0
Throughout the year and leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, we will update our New England Patriots Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the New England Patriots from several prominent sites and draft analysts.
The following are picks from recent NFL mock drafts for the New England Patriots:
31. Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia
Freeling's a long-limbed tackle prospect with excellent athletic ability, but his game needs more seasoning.
31. Cashius Howell, EDGE, Texas A&M
It took only one year for Mike Vrabel to build an impressive defense, but the Patriots must focus on replacing their short-term free agent signings with draft picks who can serve as a longer-term foundation. Howell led the SEC in pressures (41) and had 11.5 sacks in his second season at Texas A&M after transferring from Bowling Green. He doesn't immediately project as a three-down player but has the tools to develop into one with improved play against the run. Howell would bring an immediate pass-rushing presence and give New England serious juice off the corner when attacking the backfield with his impressive first-step quickness.
63. Elijah Sarratt, WR, Indiana
The Patriots made the Super Bowl with an ensemble cast at receiver led by 32-year-old Stefon Diggs. So getting a future WR1 should be a priority. Sarratt has some Courtland Sutton similarities and would complement Drake Maye's timing and accuracy well.
31. Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia
Freeling pairs elite length with high-end athleticism. He's incredibly smooth when mirroring pass rushers or climbing to the second level, and while he's still filling out his frame to handle pure power, his ability to lock onto defenders and sustain blocks in the run game already ranks among the best in this class.
31. Zion Young, EDGE, Missouri
Young was as advertised at the Senior Bowl. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound edge defender showcased power and explosiveness in the team drills and one-on-ones. He also has a defensive lineman's mindset, meaning he is competitive, tough and physical at all times. He'll get more first-round buzz after this past week.

31. Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia
A great athlete at 6-7, 315, Freeling could physically handle either tackle or either guard position. A balanced, powerful and bendy tackle with limited experience, Freeling should have his best days ahead of him.
31. Cashius Howell, EDGE, Texas A&M
The impending free agency of K'Lavon Chaisson (7.5 regular-season sacks) could leave a void at one of the Patriots' edge-rusher spots. Howell might be an ideal replacement as a sub-package specialist with dynamic pass-rushing skills.
31. Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah
With Morgan Moses set to turn 35 in March, the Patriots land another young tackle to help protect Drake Maye.
