Cleveland Browns Mock Draft Roundup 7.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2021 NFL draft, we will update our Cleveland Browns Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Cleveland Browns from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

For a more inclusive lists of mock drafts for the Cleveland Browns, check out our 2021 Cleveland Browns Mock Draft Database.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Browns:

EDSFootball - Donahue (3/23)

26. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame

The Browns signed one of the top safeties available in John Johnson to a three-year deal but could still use some versatility on defense and few meet that criteria better than Owusu-Koramoah. At 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, he may be a bit undersized but has shown he can make up for it not only with his ability in coverage but also attacking the line of scrimmage averaging a tackle for loss per game the past two seasons at Notre Dame.

NFL.com - Brooks (3/23)

26. Joe Tryon, EDGE, Washington

Adding a credible pass-rush threat opposite Myles Garrett would provide some needed pop to the Browns' young, athletic defense.

The Athletic - Beat Writers (3/23)

26. Gregory Rousseau, EDGE, Miami (FL)

There's a natural fit here with the Browns having invested their free-agent resources in their shaky secondary. Though I still think they'd consider Northwestern CB Greg Newsome in this spot, if Rousseau is available at No. 26 he would be pretty much a slam dunk. He's still developing but possesses ideal size and enough athletic gifts to eventually become an impactful pass-rusher. The Browns are looking for a complement to Myles Garrett, and Rousseau slipping to them would be a win. -- Zac Jackson

ESPN - Kiper (3/22)

26. Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa

Browns general manager Andrew Berry is having a nice offseason, adding help on defense and getting impact players in the secondary in safety John Johnson III and cornerback Troy Hill, both former Rams. And the way this draft is shaking out, there could still be solid defenders available late in Round 1. If Cleveland can find a pass-rusher to put opposite Myles Garrett, that's a huge win, which is why I considered Oklahoma's Ronnie Perkins and Texas' Joseph Ossai here. But Collins is a versatile defender who could play linebacker or defensive end, and I like his fit with the Browns. Get him on the field and watch him make plays.

CBS Sports - Wilson (3/22)

26. Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa

For the 2020 season Collins had four sacks, four interceptions (including two pick-sixes) and two forced fumbles. At 6-foot-4, 260 pounds, he looks more like a defensive end but moves with the fluidity of the modern day inside linebackers that have become so prevalent around the league.

PFF - Renner (3/22)

26. Jayson Oweh, EDGE, Penn State

Oweh is a different caliber of athlete from even the other freaks in the class. With his length and get-off, he doesn't need much more to make an impact. He's relatively new to the game, and we saw massive improvement from him from 2019 to 2020 despite what his sack totals say.
