categories. Unlike most "Power Rankings", our index is based on statistical performance
only in an attempt to remove any biases that enter into other sources' Power Rankings.
The statistical categories include won-loss record, scoring margin, offensive yards per
game (ypg) - defensive ypg, offensive rushing ypg - defensive rushing ypg, offensive
passing ypg - defensive passing ypg, turnover differential, total scoring margins in
losses (note: this is a change from previous Domination Indexes, where average scoring
margins in losses was used) and strength of schedule.
** Scoring range is 8 (best) to 256 (worst).
*** Point change preceded by a (-) is good. The team is moving towards 8 (the best
score). Point change preceded by a (+) is negative. The team is moving towards 256
(the worst score).
