First winning season - maybe playoffs - for Texans

The Houston Texans were a popular sleeper pick at the beginning of the season to make the playoffs.

Closing out the regular season with a four-game winning streak not only gives the Texans their first-ever winning season (9-7) but also an outside shot at making the post-season.

Today the Texans scored on three consecutive drives to overcome a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter.

In order to clinch a playoff berth, the Texans need help with the tie-breakers.

If both the Ravens and the Broncos lose to the Raiders and Chiefs, respectively, the Texans will make the playoffs.

If only one of those two teams (Ravens or Broncos) lose, the Texans will make the playoffs if the Jets lose to the Bengals tonight.

If both the Ravens and Broncos win, the Texans will be eliminated.
