Big Ben sets franchise passing record
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had a career -- and franchise -- day by throwing for 503 passing yards and three touchdowns including the game-winner against the Green Bay Packers.
And it was a touchdown pass with time expiring to rookie Mike Wallace that was eerily similar to the one caught by Santonio Holmes in the Super Bowl last year that tied the game at 36-36. Jeff Reed's extra point won it.
The Packers entered the game on a five-game winning streak while the Steelers entered looking to end their five-game losing streak.
The Steelers are now 7-7 and trail the Ravens and Broncos by one game for a wildcard spot. The following five other AFC teams are 7-7: Miami, NY Jets, Houston, Tennessee and Jacksonville.
In weeks 16 and 17, the Steelers face the Ravens and Dolphins.
