Per Bob Brookover of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Eagles left tackle Jason Peters is eager to prove the world that the Eagles were right to give up three draft picks for -- and give a monster contract extension to -- Peters.

The Panthers have claimed RB Tyrell Sutton off waivers from Green Bay and DT Ra'Shon Harris from Pittsburgh to fill out their 53-man roster.

The Steelers signed rookie running back Isaac Redman, after he cleared waivers, to their eight-man practice squad, per Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazzette.

The Lions have claimed cornerback Marcus McCauley, who was waived by the Vikings yesterday.

The Cowboys claimed Marvin White, who was waived by Cincinnati, and Cleveland claimed DeAngelo Smith, who was waived by Dallas.

Texans cornerback Dunta Robinson ended his holdout and signed his one-year franchise tender.

The Bengals' practice squad is complete.

The Colts signed safety Aaron Francisco, who was cut by the Cardinals, to a one-year, $620,000 contract.

San Francisco signed seven players -- Kory Sheets, J.J. Finley, Alex Boone, Dominique Zeigler, Dobson Collins, Brit Miller, and Khalif Mitchell -- to its practice squad.

The Titans re-signed seven players they cut to their practice squad.

The Colts announced today that they claimed rookie linebacker Cody Glenn off waivers from the Washington Redskins, and in turn, waived safety Matt Giordano.

Mike Lupica of the NY Daily News latest column: "Giants coach Tom Coughlin is the man all other New York coaches want to be."

Coach Raheem Morris confirms that rookie QB Josh Freeman is now number two on the Bucs' depth chart.

The Lions claimed return man Yamon Figurs, who was waived by the Ravens.

The Dolphins claimed tight end Davone Drew off waivers from the Ravens and waived tight end David Thomas.

The Patriots have signed guard Kendall Simmons, who was released by the Steelers.

The Bucs have claimed defensive end Maurice Evans off waivers from the Giants and cornerback William Middleton off waivers from the Falcons today.

Isaiah Stanback, who was cut by the Cowboys on Saturday, was signed to the Patriots' practice squad.

The Saints added QB Chase Daniel, who was cut by the Redskins yesterday, to their practice squad.

After cutting QB Brian Brohm yesterday, the Packers signed him to their practice squad today.

Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew doesn't let stardom interfere with his focus and unassuming demeanor.

The Vikings have re-signed QB John David Booty (to their practice squad).
