Hardwick out at least eight weeks
The injury bug has hit the San Diego Chargers hard.
According to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune, center Nick Hardwick, who missed Sunday's game against Baltimore, is having surgery on his ankle today and he will miss at least eight weeks.
There is no word on whether the Chargers will place him on Injured Reserve (IR), which would end his season.
The Chargers placed nose tackle Jamal Williams on IR Sunday.
Scott Mruczkowski will continue to start for Hardwick and Mruczkowski's back-up is Dennis Norman, who was signed last week.
