T.O. to miss next pre-season game
The Buffalo Bills will be without receiver Terrell Owens in their pre-season game against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday, per Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com.
Bills coach Dick Jauron said after Wednesday's practice that, “we probably won’t put him on the field until next week some time” as they allow his sprained toe to heal.
Owens practiced on a limited basis Monday night, but he didn't practice last week. Jauron said, "We're just following the protocol that we use for that injury ..."
With the regular season being more than three weeks away, the Bills have no need to play him now.
