Titans sign Kenny Britt to five-year deal
The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with Kenny Britt, their first-round pick, on a five-year contract believed to be worth a little more than $12 million, according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean.
Although he left Rutgers as a junior, Britt finished his career as the Big East leader in receiving yards (3,043) and as Rutgers' leader in receiving touchdowns (17).
Britt is expected to participate in the team's Sunday practice, which begins at 3:30 p.m.
"We're getting closer and closer to the ball game and still don't have a sense of his conditioning level," coach Jeff Fisher said. "When he does come in, we'll evaluate him."
The Titans kick off the pre-season with the Hall of Fame next weekend.
