Broncos sign Ayers, only Moreno left to sign

The Denver Broncos have reached an agreement with Robert Ayers, their second of two first-round picks, on a five-year contract, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post.

Ayers is expected to practice with the team this evening.

Per Klis, the Broncos are hopeful that they can have Knowshon Moreno, their other first-round pick, signed by Tuesday or Wednesday.

At the University of Tennessee, Ayers played defensive end and was named first-team All-SEC last year. In Denver, Ayers will be a 3-4 outside linebacker.
