Ochocinco to show for Bengals' mini-camp

Although Bengals QB Carson Palmer has used the phrase "Chad's pretty much gone," Ochocinco says he'll be at the team's mini-camp.

“Of course, why not go and show off the product?” said Ochocinco of the upcoming minicamp. “Why not leave my coaches mouths wide open?”

“I’m sure all the people in Cincinnati think I’m really not doing that much but you’ll see the results with the work I’m putting in right now.”

Chad can talk, which he does well and often, but coach Marvin Lewis says he needs to prove it once he shows.

“When he gets here I will judge how much football I even allow him to do until he proves that he’s in the shape the rest of our players are in,” Lewis said.

Ochocinco says that he's got that eye of the tiger back. In fact, he's even sparred with former featherweight champion Kevin Kelley.

“From 1997-99, I was hungry. Since then it got a little too easy for me,” Ochocinco said. “I wouldn’t say I stopped working hard but that hunger wasn’t like it used to be. Right now it’s back. It’s back 10 times worse than what it was before I got to the league.”

Last year, Ochocinco had only 53 receptions for 540 yards and four touchdowns.
