Jeff Garcia to "mentor" JaMarcus Russell?

Garcia, who was signed in the off-season, is fiery and competitive whereas Russell is laid-back. Perhaps, as much as anything, Garcia will be Russell's "mentor" when it comes to attitude.

"It's not an easy role to accept because of the competitive nature that is within me," Garcia said.
