Hasselbeck's back's back to normal
Last season, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, who suffered from a bulging disk in his back, played in only seven games in 2008.
In this year's off-season workouts, Hasselbeck's back looks like it's completely healed, according to Dave Boling of the Tacoma Tribune.
Hasselbeck feels comfortable enough with his back that he is able to focus solely on learning the new offense and playbook.
With healthier receivers (knock on wood) and the addition of T.J. Houshmandzadeh via free agency, the Seahawks should challenge the Cardinals for the division in 2009.

“I hope everything’s in,” he said of the offense. “The (play)book is so thick. I think what we’re trying to do now is just really install everything, see what works, see what fits the personnel. And Greg Knapp’s kind of going 100 miles an hour teaching it, coaching it. We’re just trying to learn it, practice it, get so it feels just like second nature.”Last year, the injury bug not only affected Hasselbeck but the Seahawks' receiving corps as well. In fact, early in the season, the Seahawks signed WR Billy McMullen off the street and Hasselbeck called him the "go-to receiver."
