Favre consulted Dr. Andrews
ESPN's Ed Werder and Chris Mortensen are reporting that "retired" QB Brett Favre has consulted with Dr. James Andrews this week about options on getting his partially torn biceps tendon healthy.
Favre and Andrews worked on some exercises that may accelerate the process of healing the tendon without surgery.
If that doesn't work, the question remains will Favre be willing to undergo surgery to repair the tendon in order to be able to play. It's been reported that Favre isn't likely to play if major surgery is needed.
Last year, Favre threw 22 touchdowns and 22 interceptions, seven of which came in the last three games of the season.
