Darnell Dockett requests trade
Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett has requested to be traded according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic.
Dockett was sitting out of the team's recent mini-camp with a hamstring injury (wink wink) as was fellow unhappy camper Anquan Boldin, both of whom are represented by agent Drew Rosenhaus.
In October 2006, Dockett signed a five-year extension worth $22 million.
The Cardinals view their franchise-designated linebacker Karlos Dansby and safety Adrian Wilson as having higher priority in negotiating a new deal. Both will become unrestricted free agents after this season if long-term deals aren't reached.
Dockett had 49 tackles and four sacks in 2008.
