Bucs o.k. with Winslow being a no-show
Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. missed the first day of the Bucs' Organized Team Activities (OTAs) today. OTAs are voluntary.
In the off-season, the Bucs acquired Winslow from the Browns and made him the highest paid tight end in the league.
Former Buc and current NFL Network analyst Warren Sapp says that "Winslow needs to be here."
“It shows your dedication to your team,” Sapp said. Or, in Winslow's case, his lack of it from Sapp's perspective.
The team says that "they understand" why the self-proclaimed "F--king Soldier" was AWOL.

“The coaching staff was aware that he wasn’t going to be here,” the team said. “They’ve been in contact with Kellen, and they understand why he wasn’t there.”Since I don't have a quote from K2, Allen Iverson should remind us that we're talking about practice.
