Titans talk to Cards about Boldin
With the receivers currently on their roster, the Tennessee Titans would likely start Justin Gage and Nate Washington, who was signed in the off-season, at WR.
However, per Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, the Titans have talked to the Arizona Cardinals about wide receiver Anquan Boldin. That being said, no offer is imminent and, if the Cardinals are seeking a first- and third-round pick as speculated, time is running out for the Titans (and other teams).

"It's safe to say we're always trying to get the team better, so we'll continue to monitor various situations,'' Reinfeldt said, declining to discuss Boldin specifically. "But there's a numbers of players that are discussed at this point and time. That's kind of the way it works.''The Titans have the 30th pick in the first round and will likely select a CB or WR in the first round. Some of the receivers that should/could be available when the Titans pick include Florida's Percy Harvin, whose physical ability is equally matched by his character concerns, UNC's Hakeem Nicks, Rutgers' Kenny Britt and Ohio State's Brian Robiskie.
"I would hope you would not operate in a desperation mode or a panic mode, that you had to have this one player,'' Reinfeldt said. "Consistency is the key and I guess we would always operate that way. I think in the long run that is the safest way to do it, the best way to do it.''
