Raiders to workout Heyward-Bey
The Oakland Raiders hold the seventh overall pick in this year's NFL draft. And Raiders' owner Al Davis loves himself receivers with speed.
So, does that mean that the Raiders will take Maryland's Darrius Heyward-Bey, who ran the fastest 40 time at the NFL combine (4.30), with the number seven pick?
Per Ken Murray of The Baltimore Sun, the Raiders worked out Heyward-Bey today at the University of Maryland.
Unless the Raiders trade down, I don't expect them to select Heyward-Bey in the first round even if NFL Network's Mike Mayock does. I expect the Raiders to take Missouri WR Jeremy Maclin.
