Nick Cole signs tender by Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles guard Nick Cole, who was undrafted in 2006, signed his one-year tender as a restricted free agent and will earn $1.545 million in 2009.

Due to injuries on the Eagles' offensive line, Cole started the last five regular-season games and all three post-season games for the Eagles in 2008.

He's expected to either enter as a starter in 2009 or be the top reserve on the Eagles' O-line.

The undrafted Hank Baskett, who joined the Eagles in 2006 as well, was also offered a one-year tender with the Eagles. Although he hasn't signed the tender yet, he is expected to do so.
