Greg Paulus to visit Syracuse
Duke basketball point guard Greg Paulus, former Gatorade Player of the Year in football, has already worked out for the Green Bay Packers and received an offer to compete for the starting QB spot at the University of Michigan.
After visiting with the Packers and Wolverines, the next stop on the Greg Paulus tour is Syracuse.
Paulus is from Syracuse where he was a four-year all-state selection as quarterback at Christian Brothers Academy. He finished his high-school career with 11,763 passing yards and 152 touchdowns.
Syracuse has a new head coach in Doug Marrone, who was the offensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints for the past three seasons. The Saints led the NFL in offense (410.7 yards per game) in 2008.
