Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs, who has been attending the Bears' off-season workouts, did not show up Monday.
Was he hiding something? Apparently so.
Briggs was photographed at an event this weekend where he was signing autographs, but his right arm was heavily bandaged.
Per the Chicago Sun-Times, Briggs cut his hand on a straight-edge razor.
Briggs was scheduled to report to the Bears' facility today to explain what happened and allow the team to examine his hand.
I'm certainly not a finely-tuned, multi-million-dollar professional athlete. But I've managed to make it through my38 29 years sans shaving accidents. There has to be more to the story (and it's probably pretty interesting).
