Bucs to sign Leftwich to two-year deal
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and free-agent QB Byron Leftwich have agreed to a two-year deal according to ESPN.
Last year, Leftwich played well in a back-up to Ben Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh. In five games of action, he had a QB rating of 104.3 and threw for 303 yards and two touchdowns.
The other three QBs on the Buccaneers' roster are Josh McCown, Josh Johnson and Brian Griese.
The question is will the Bucs add a third Josh in two weeks at the NFL draft. Before this move, I expected the Bucs to draft Kansas State QB Josh Freeman.
