Samari Rolle to visit with Jets
Cornerback Samari Rolle, who was released by the Ravens, is expected to visit with the New York Jets.
The Jets acquired Lito Sheppard for draft picks this off-season to start opposite Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis. If the Jets sign Rolle, he would be the nickelback.
Rex Ryan, who was defensive coordinator in Baltimore for the past four seasons, has already added two former Ravens' defensive players this off-season. The Jets signed LB Bart Scott to a six-year contract and later signed safety Jim Leonhard to a three-year contract.
Rolle, who missed six games due to injury, had 27 tackles and three interceptions in 2008. Rolle, the Titans' second-round draft pick in 1998, is an 11-year veteran.
