Raiders' Cornell Green arrested
Raiders tackle Cornell Green (6'6" and 315 pounds) was arrested yesterday on charges of domestic violence against the mother of his two children.
After the incident, Green fled to the Tampa International Airport (TIA), but he was apprehended at TIA.
In addition to playing for the Raiders, Green has played for the Jets, Bucs and Broncos. According to his Wikipedia profile, he also was on the practice squad and/or off-season rosters of the Falcons and Dolphins.
"...Green slammed 30-year-old Teriyonal Ebony Flowers into a wall, then struck her right arm with an aluminum mop handle."Although there is no word on whether Ms. Flowers was armed (you know, with an "aluminum mop handle"), but a guy (especially one his size) should never hit a woman in a "heated argument."
