Pats trade for Greg Lewis

The New England Patriots lost Jabar Gaffney, their #3 WR last year, to the Denver Broncos.

Yesterday the Pats hosted free-agent WR Joey Galloway, who had an injury-shortened season (9 games) in 2008. However, Galloway recorded 1000-yard seasons in each of the previous 3 seasons with the Buccaneers.

Today, the Patriots have sent an undisclosed draft pick to the Philadelphia Eagles. In return, they get WR Greg Lewis from the Eagles.

Lewis has been in the league for 6 seasons and has 127 career receptions for 1699 yards and 7 TDs.
