No T.O. at Bills' first voluntary workout
Today the Buffalo Bills began their 12-week off-season conditioning program, which is voluntary but normally attended by 50 Bills' players. A notable absentee was newcomer Terrell Owens.
T.O. will eventually report and should be on his best behavior in 2009. In the past, he hasn't caused any problems in his first year with a team. It's less likely that he'll be a disruptive force in his first year with the Bills considering he'll be 35 in December, has a history of incidents and, most importantly, will need to negotiate a new contract after this season.
“Terrell in the past has not been involved in all of those things,” Bills coach Dick Jauron said. “My hope is that he’s here. He knows how important it is for us, particularly in his first year with us.”There are a lot of things for which T.O. can be criticized. However, Owens maintains himself in peak physical condition.
