David Macklin arrested for DUI
Kansas City Chiefs CB David Macklin was arrested early this morning in Newport News, VA on DUI charges. He was initially pulled over for illegal window tint on his BMW, but the officer “detected the smell of alcohol and noticed the driver to be impaired."
Maclin's blood-alcohol level was .11, which is over the Virginia legal limit of .08.
Appearing in four games with the Chiefs, Maclin didn't have any tackles in 2008. He has played in the NFL for 10 seasons for Indianapolis, Arizona, Washington, St. Louis and Kansas City.
If I were a betting man, I would bet that Macklin will be searching for a new employer very soon.
