Bryce Brown heading to Knoxville
Bryce Brown, who was the nation's top-rated RB recruit, is heading to the University of Tennessee.
More than 13 months ago, Brown committed to the Miami Hurricanes, where his brother Arthur plays linebacker. He mentioned that his mother wanted him to go to Miami to play with his brother.
''If you followed this recruiting process, it was like a roller-coaster ride and I didn't expect for it to turn out like this, but things happened that I didn't expect and we had to come up with an alternative plan,'' Bryce Brown said. "We asked God to give us his plan.''His second choice was Kansas State.

"The most important person to me is the person to my left, my brother. I want to thank him just for being there. I know how bad he wants me to play at the University of Miami, but he never put any pressure on me. He was always there to support me and that means a lot to me.''Before gaining a single rushing yard on the collegiate level, Brown is already thinking about the NFL.
"They have a lot of NFL coaches there and I feel like that's a school that's going to prepare me for the next level. They expect greatness. That's what I'm used to. I wanted to go to a place where I know the coaches are going to put a lot of pressure on me to work hard.''According to Rivals.com rankings, Brown is Tennessee's second prospect with a five-star rating to sign with Tennessee. The other is defensive back Janzen Jackson. Rivals ranks Tennessee's 2009 recruiting class tenth in the nation.
