Eagles sign Stacy Andrews

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed Stacy Andrews to a 6-year contract.

Andrews suffered a torn ACL against the Browns on December 21st and had surgery on January 7th. Initially he was expected to be out until training camp, but he is ahead of schedule and expects to be ready for mini-camp in June.

Stacy joins his brother Shawn, who was a no-show at training camp last year as he battled depression. Before last season, Shawn Andrews made the Pro Bowl in 2006 and 2007.
“I am very excited," Stacy Andrews said. "We always talked about possibly playing together. Now we have the chance. It’s unreal; I’m looking forward to it."
Stacy Andrews was a 4th-round draft pick out of Mississippi, where he started playing football in his junior year. He's played for the Bengals for the past 5 years.
