Pair of Utes heading to NFL

After finishing a perfect 13-0, a pair of Utah Utes' defensive stars will leave the school and enter the NFL draft.

Sophomore DE Paul Kruger will skip his final 2 seasons of eligibility and Junior CB Sean Smith will skip his final season of eligibility.

Smith, the 6'3" CB who expects to run in the 4.35-4.45 range, had 5 interceptions this year. Kruger had 8 sacks and 16.5 tackles for a loss.

Both are projected to be first-day selections. The first 2 rounds of the NFL draft are held on day 1. Rounds 3-7 are held on day 2.
