No criminal charges against Marvin Harrison (for now)

For now, there won't be any criminal charges against Marvin Harrison from the shooting that took place in Philadelphia on April 29th. Harrison's gun, however, has been confirmed as the gun used in the shooting.
“We have nine or so versions of what happened. … Obviously, we haven’t heard the truth. We’ve heard pieces of the truth,” District Attorney Lynne Abraham said at a news conference.
The AG has said that criminal charges could be brought against Harrison depending on what happens in the civil case.

Dwight Dixon, the shooting victim, is suing Harrison saying Harrison “intentionally and outrageously shot” him and that he has “serious and permanent injuries." Dixon is seeking more than $50,000 in both compensatory damages and punitive damages.

Marvin Harrison is 4th all-time in receiving yards (14,580) and 2nd among active players. Isaac Bruce is 2nd on the list at 14,944 yards. This season Harrison had 60 receptions for 636 yards and 5 TDs.
